Halloween goodies!!

I put together some Halloween cards this week - and had such a blast!! Most of these will go into boxes for my sisters for christmas.

I used a martha stewart border punch for this one, and my handy dandy dymo labeler. The background was embossed with cuttlebug's distressed stripes folder.

I just think these little mice are the cutest!!

I used another martha punch to cut out the mouse for the inside. I attached him with a pop dot to give him a little dimension.

While I was crafting, I decided to organize my stash of 'Thickers' letter stickers by American Crafts... and HOLY COW! I have an entire box full, several duplicates... oops! They are now well organized, and I used some of my stash...

The letters are white foam American Crafts thickers. The die cut punkins' are a Cuttlebug 3x3 die entitled 'halloween' (how appropriate!) They are soo teeny and soo cute!!

The journaling box on the inside of this card is another cuttlebug die - it comes in a combo set called 'halloween sign.' I just squealed when I saw how cute this little cut out was... It can be used for anything!!

I made this card using the cuttlebug die 'halloween' again - more of the cute teeny images from this die. The lower half of the card was embossed using swiss dots.

This is the inside of that card... The black background is punched at the bottom with the drippy goo punch by martha and embossed with cuttlebugs distressed stripes folder. The circular saying says 'witching you a happy halloween!' It's a studio G stamp that you can get in the dollar bin at Moores... love it. :) I then embossed the circle with swiss dots - I'm not sure I'd repeat this maneuver for the entire circle... makes the stamp sort of hard to read. But what's done is done, so I went with it. :)

The bat is from the halloween cuttlebug die again. there are so many teeny cuts on this one die!

This picture is of a very simple card I did... patterned cardstock cut down to an A2 card size, and then a little stitch of ribbon, and this halloween sentiment. I made it with the cuttlebug halloween sign combo... The die cuts out the sign and the embossing folder embosses it to say Happy Halloween - I inked it with charcoal color box ink to give it a little more definition.

inside: I used the cuttlebug combo set 'creepy' to cut out and emboss the bat -- he's pretty cute, for a bat!

On this card, I used the same cuttlebug combo set, and I backed it with a small square of black cardstock (3 1/4" x 3 1/4") punched with Martha Stewart's punch around the page spiderwebs. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these punch around the page punches!!

On the inside I used the cuttlebug combo 'RIP' to cut and emboss the gravestone.
I punched the white background cardstock with the martha drippy goo punch, and embossed it with swiss dots.

Well my scraproom is still a work in progress, but I managed to make enough room tonight to make a few cards. I used a Martha Stewart pack of paper that I got on clearance at Michaels.

Ok, I have a BIG problem here.

This space was making me crazy. I am hoarding so much stuff these days... I'm running out of places to put it all. It has gotten to the point where I can't work in the mess!
SO! Last weekend, I laborously removed every single item from this room, and flooded my spare bedroom with it all. I went to Target and Lowes on a shopping spree for new furniture, paint, organization goodies.... and a few more paper pads. (They jumped in the cart. Who knew?)
Anyhow.
What I thought would be a long day of organizing, has turned into a week, and probably two before it's all said and done. I wanted to post some before pictures, so you can be shocked and awed when I'm all done. Riiiiight.

On a brighter note, look what I found in the chicken box yesterday!

I was so proud of my ladies! Our first eggs! As you can see, one is cracked, because somebody dropped it from the perch, instead of in the laying box Josh so lovingly built... (Helllooo chickens, not a good idea.)
So excited!!
